The Old Girls Association was established in 1921 by Solway's earliest former students.  Annual Reunions were held, originally at the school, but in later years at venues throughout the North Island. The Solway College Old Girls' Association celebrated 100 years in 2021.

For many years funds provided by the SCOGA were made available to the college for bursaries and scholarships. Although the association no longer exists funding was made available for the continuation of bursaries and scholarships.

Old girls of Solway College will always be an essential part of our school community.

Recipients of bursaries and scholarships are recognised formally at Solway's Academic Colours Ceremony held in the first term.
